Housing Assistance

The Housing Assistance program is dedicated to providing aid to individuals and families who are experiencing difficulties in paying their monthly rent or mortgage. Our aim is to ensure that you are able to remain in your home, given the high costs and challenges that come with being evicted. Additionally, we recognize the importance of maintaining stability for children by enabling them to stay in the same school, and helping you avoid the expenses associated with moving into new housing or the anxiety-inducing process of relocating to a shelter.

Rent/mortgage assistance is available on Mondays only.

Eligibility Requirements:

• All previous rent/mortgage must be paid in full. 
• You must bring a valid lease or a current mortgage statement that shows the amount due. A copy is fine.
• Help is available once per calendar year.
• We can assist with up to $300 of your rent or mortgage. We cannot offer help with deposits to secure housing and/or sublets.
• On the fourth Monday of the month, we begin providing assistance for the following month.
