Thanksgiving Meal Baskets

Thanksgiving Meal Baskets

Mercy's Gate's annual Thanksgiving Meal Baskets program has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families facing hardship in our community. As Thanksgiving draws near this year, we invite our neighbors in need to participate in this annual program.

Working in collaboration with our supportive church partners, Mercy's Gate provides uncooked, prepackaged meal kits to those in need throughout November. These baskets are more than just food—they symbolize Thanksgiving's warmth, nourishment, and fellowship.

If you're currently facing a period of hardship, please know that you're not alone. You are part of our community, and your well-being matters to us. Whether you're an individual or a family, if putting a meal together this holiday season feels daunting, let us help.

There's enough to worry about in life, and we believe that being able to sit down to a Thanksgiving meal with your loved ones shouldn't be one of those things. By participating in our Thanksgiving Meal Baskets program, we hope to help lighten your load, at least for the holidays.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • To qualify for a Thanksgiving Meal Basket, individuals must register by completing a registration form during one of Mercy's Gate's open sessions. The registration process operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and individuals may register during designated times on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Registration opens on October 30th and will end November 15th. Once registered, participants will receive a specific pick-up date and time to collect their basket from either a local church or Mercy's Gate.
